Orthodox Images™ combines the advantages of cutting-edge technology, decades of professional art experience and the timeless integrity of the Orthodox Christian artistic tradition to produce works of traditional iconography for places of worship and fine art for the decoration of home and office environments. |
Icons - All iconography is prepared by talented artists working under the supervision of trained Orthodox iconographers. All images are produced on superior quality artists canvas using an eight color process and light-fast inks resulting in an image worthy of veneration and designed to last for generations. The icon is completed with hand-laid 23k gold leaf in the appropriated areas (i.e. halos, borders, etc.) and sealed with a water and abrasion resistant clear finish. Icons are available mounted on a variety of wood materials or as a canvas roll ready for direct application to a smooth surface. |
Fine Art - All decorative art is produced with the same quality of craftsmanship and materials as described above. Art images are stretched on a wood frame, finished with a water and abrasion resistant clear coating and shipped ready for mounting in a decorative frame or hung as is. |
To date we have shipped icons to hundreds of locations in over 35 states, including Alaska, and Hawaii. Most of these jobs included a full iconostasis set, and many other large custom icons.
